Bryce Canyon

The next day we were on the move again. It was 122 miles to Bryce
Canyon.

We stopped at an ice-covered stream next to the road.

The famous entrance to Bryce Canyon is an arch.

We recorded our entry for posterity.

Our campsite was in a piney woods. We were one of the very few
campers here. We paid for our site and then continued through
the park.

We hiked along a rim trail from Sunset Point to Sunrise Point.

The pillar-like structures here are called hoodoos.

We thought this squarish grouping of hoodoos looked like a medieval
castle.
We liked that there were no fences or barriers between the trail
and the precipice.

We did a small side hike down into the canyon.

Further down the trail, we got a view of
the rim formations.
